THE COASTAL PATH - KYSTPILEGRIMSLEIA
The Coastal Pilgrim Route is part of the St. Olav Ways: a network of pilgrim routes towards Trondheim, Norway. The coastal route also intersects with the Sunnivaleia, the Sunniva Path. The Coastal Pilgrim Route is a beautiful journey along the coast, featuring fjords, islands, islets, and reefs. It starts in Egersund and passes through Stavanger, Bergen, and Ålesund
on the way to Trondheim. Nordic Pilgrim offers trips from Bergen to Selje – and back again to Bergen.
The coastal route is not a continuously marked hike, so most people combine boat, bus, and bicycle to reach new key locations.
NORDIC PILGRIM
Nordic Pilgrim has offered self-guided hikes along the Gudbrandsdalsleden since 2023 – taking over Fru Amundsen’s packages – from Lillehammer to Trondheim. We arrange accommodation, meals, luggage transport, maps, and English information about points of interest. An English-speaking contact is always available during your trip. Prefer to handle your own meals? You’ll get a list of
shops and cooking facilities along the route. Short on time? Nordic Pilgrim helps choose the best section for you. Carrying your own luggage makes the trip even more budget-friendly. We also offer customized solutions, can book extra nights at the start or end of your journey, advise on transport, and provide a realistic itinerary with a quotation.
